Slow service, average food. We waited 15 minutes before we were served water. 1/2 hour from when we sat down to get our drinks. 50 minutes after arriving we finally got our dinner. The breakfast wasn't anything special either. My French toast was barely warm, as if if wasn't microwaved long enough after being pulled from a freezer. I do not recommend going there. Unfortunately it's the only convenient place to go while staying at the Caribou Lodge.
Welcoming and comfortable. Good food and nice atmosphere. Real, personable service by Kari made our evening after the long drive up from the Twin Cities.
LOVE this restaurant. The service is spotty depending on who is your server. The food is always awesome though! Bar makes some great drinks for moderate pricing.
The final straw was when the batender made me the wrong recipe for a brandy old fashioned.
I have held back on commenting since I like to give a break to groups who have had a bad day or a rough time which they are working thru. However Moguls has hick ups - period! I have been to the Grill over a dozen times over the last couple of years and they are constantly inconsistent. I wish it wasn't true, but as noted in other reviews, cold food, long waits, food not cooked, hair or other items in food have all been viewed. A big challenge the group has is the influx of the workers that typically come in spring and leave in fall. Can they make a good dish, yes. Unfortunately, you can see the trend. The depth of the staff is in a cycle of coming and going. Not an excuse but reality.
Wings & caeser were solid... their "mountain of meat" pizza (to go) is friggin awesome.
