We stayed during a full moon--unbelievable sight to see the moon light up the lake. Hard to believe one night the reflection of the moon was a mirror image on the peaceful lake and the next day Lake Superior was dancing with wild waves against the beautiful ice formations on the beach.
I've had the pleasure to know the company from their office staff to the most wonderful places to vacation on Minnesota's North Shore! If you are looking for a private place to relax and reconnect, choose CVR. They have a long list of properties all over the North Shore, for different budgets and small or big groups! Remember that you come for vacation, so forget about the WiFi and work, enjoy your time in the woods!
Athena and Chris have been taking care of my Ronald home for many years now. They both have been very responsive and their quality of work is second to none. Athena makes sure our place is spotless and Chris makes himself available to do some of the maintenance things I either can't get to, or don't know how to do. I would highly recommend them to take care your property as well.
So many amazing options to choose from. Condos, Lake Superior Homes, rustic cabins, townhomes...the lost goes on and on :)
We enjoyed cooking our dinner in the large/spacious kitchen and then relaxing in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. The living room is surrounded by huge windows on three sides where we could see the lake or watch deer roaming in the woods. We were warm and cozy on a spacious and comfy sofa that lined the room. Truly "heaven sent!" mini vacation!
I stayed in Superior Shores 6 and the location & views were perfect, but the cabin is not pet friendly, yet the entire place was covered in white dog hair & cob webs. We threw the bed comforter on the ground because it was covered in dog hair & had to sweep twice just to get it clean from the previous tenants. Cascade addressed my issue & gave me a refund, which was very appreciated. I would stay with this company again, but not stay in that cabin again. I do not pay to stay somewhere on vacation to have to clean the place myself. Hopefully they addressed it with their cleaning service because it was beyond unacceptable.
Stayed at Heaven Sent and it was beautiful! Truly Up North feel without the crowds of a noisy hotel or condo.
