Quaint, clean, quiet room that was pet friendly. Delicious food, reasonable priced with a wonderful setting, even hummingbirds by the window. The view of the lake was beautiful across the street, could have sat forever!
Do not eat breakfast here today (Aug. 2nd) The waiter is so slow he is moving backwards in time. He moves with NO sense of urgency. People were waiting at the door to be seated for 10 minutes. We waited over 15 minutes for our order to be taken and our coffee to be delivered. The food took so long I need to shave again. The couple sitting across from us are still waiting for their coffee and it looks like they are willing to kill me to get mine. 3 couples have walked out. The food arrived just as we were going to get up and leave. At least the food was good.
We have started here numerous times and love it. It's a basic lodge for good prices and since we are out hiking it gives everything we need. The cabins and lodge rooms are fun and the restaurant has good breakfast.
I wish I could give a 4.5 but I can't, thus the 4. Overall everything was great. Very nice and charmingly cozy. Wonderful ambiance and very helpful and courteous staff. The bed was just a bit hard as well as the pillows, and that's our only noticed shortcoming. But honestly that is obviously subjective, so don't read anything into that. Would I stay again? Yes, with no hesitation.
Quaint little cabins with amazing view of the lake from the cabins. The fall season we came in was really nice. Tons of colors! Cascade has great hiking trails with beautiful waterfalls. The room we stayed in has a full kitchen, fireplace, whirlpool tub, Wi-Fi and really has that country cabin feel. Everything was clean and everyone has been very friendly. We also ate at the restaurant twice and both times the food was great. Staff was quick and nice. Highly recommend! Will eventually bring our whole family for a longer stay.
